Syrlinks and Thales Alenia Space are developing the Argos Neo miniaturized payload

“Angels” is the name of the new nanosatellite built by the french National Center of Space Studies (CNES) and the french company Nexeya. It will be launched at the end of 2019 and will collect the data of the Argos beacons in order to track the boats and changes in ocean conditions. The Argos Neo instrument under development by Syrlinks and Thales Alenia Space, aims to demonstrate the operational capacity of a miniaturized payload on a Nanosat platform. These instruments help understanding climate phenomena, improving weather forecast, protecting marine ecosystems, tracking boats…

Beyond this application, this flexible material platform is destined to answer to the different needs to collect data and to locate them.

Syrlink is a major provider in this operation as a manufacturer of radiocommunication links and geolocation systems for low-orbit satellites. For this Angels nanosatellite demonstrator, Syrlinks will also provide the on-board radiocommunication links.
