Syrlinks, the French SME, has been chosen by Thales Alenia Space to contribute to the design and delivery of the instruments, embedded in the future Kinéis constellation nanosatellites. These miniaturized systems called "payload" will recover the data transmitted from the beacons to the satellites, before beaming them back to the ground-based stations. -

An armada of satellites for global Internet coverage

This launch is also a testament to Syrlinks' success. Located in Cesson-Sévigné, this company will produce more than 3,000 radio frequency equipment to operate this constellation; it is a transceiver to control the satellite from the ground infrastructure and a low noise amplifier at the entrance of the GPS receiver. This transceiver is a real vital link. It is used to command and control satellites, and to communicate them with the Earth.
