Safe Sea Tech : Syrlinks participates in the 1st edition

Syrlinks will participate in the first edition of Safe sea tech, a day of interprofessional debates on safety at sea. See you on Friday 26 October at Etel (Morbihan, France). Satellite innovations & technologies will be on the agenda!

The first edition of Safe Sea Tech will take place on Friday 26 October 2018 and will bring together many players in the maritime sector such as: the Maritime Institute of Prevention, the Committee on Fisheries, research and training institutes for maritime safety and State administrations responsible for sea safety as well as offshore runners, architects, passenger transport managers and energy platform EMR equipment manufacturer, insurers, maritime works companies. These actors will participate in the debates and will present their innovations.

After an assessment of the current situation on prevention and accidents at sea, the first objective of Safe Sea Tech is to create links between the advanced technologies used in offshore racing and the daily lives of fishermen. At the end of this debate, new ideas for equipment, the adaptation of prevention processes and the definition of needs will emerge in order to advance safety at sea.

The second part of the day will focus on new technologies, automation and satellite technologies with a specific focus on marine and airborne UAVs. These equipments are increasingly used for safety and rescue at sea.  Their performance (identification, communication, assistance) is constantly improving.
