AN DRO for the security of sensitive sites

The AN DRO project (Digital Analysis of DROne signals) initiated and led by Syrlinks aims to develop an innovative solution that will enable the early detection, identification and localization of drones of different types, from trade or made by third parties for malicious purposes.

Recent events have highlighted the problem of overflight of droves over forbidden spaces such as airports, nuclear power plants or oil sites, posing a real threat to the safety of people and property as well as local economy activity.

The AN DRO project (Digital Analysis of DROne signals) initiated and led by Syrlinks aims to develop an innovative solution that will enable the early detection, identification and localization of drones of different types, from trade or made by third parties for malicious purposes. This cost-effective solution uses new sensor and antenna technologies of, as well as new approaches to signal analysis and intelligent data processing.

The AN DRO project, led by Syrlinks, brings together three partners: Elliptika, ENSTA Bretagne (National School of Advanced Technics) and the University of Western Brittany (UBO), thus combining the industrial expertise of two companies with the advanced innovation capacity of the research laboratories. The Brittany region, Rennes Metropole and Brest Metropole also contribute to the project thanks to financial aid. On the other hand, AN DRO also benefits from the support of the Images and Network center, who named the project. The AN DRO Project is already attracting large private companies and institutions favoring the setting up of experiments as soon as 2020.

The company, expert in Radio Frequency solutions, is already recognized for its excellence in different fields and on different markets, especially in the space field, and continues its development in France and internationally. The AN DRO project brings together multiple expertise and professions within the company, mobilizing a dozen people.
